Cruefest last night was a blast. Reb, Andrew, Jordan and I scored front row at GM Place and shouted at the devil… total blast. Heavy metal arena shows kick ass

Misk1 at BraveArt Whistler 2008

Caught Misk1 at the BraveArt opening. I’m a big fan of his work. He had about 15 finished pieces on display and did one live.

  

This triptych was done on corkwood and is truly incredible – must be seen in person. I’ll have to try and catch some tighter photos since this doesn’t really do it justice

And here is the live painting that he did. I didn’t catch the initial masking or rolling, but got some in-progress snaps so you could see how he brings it together.

 

BraveArt Whistler 2008 Opening

Caught the world premier of Seasons up at Whistler followed by the BraveArt opening. Great time, great art. Here’s a dump of some of the incredible works from the show.

Sever dropped stuff off at the show a little late and tagged the wall (against the protests of the RCMP)

There was also a good turnout of local talent thanks to Kate Power and her posse. Darren Camlin who scored the cover of Pique Magazine up here had a nice show (I picked this one up)

And there were a couple of Slick’s classic O-Hell series. This had to be my fave:

Everyone had a great time at the opening. Thanks to Ken, Darrin, Jill, Kay, Kate, Cec and everyone else that helped put it together and all of the artists that brought their A-game. It was a great show

Spring 2008 Softgoods are here!

Got the goods back from Pork Chop today and everything came out dialed. Here are some quick shots of the final gear… off to break stuff up and get it out to the riders. Here are the Rooftop hoodies:

The Bauer design came out sick (thanks James for helping get that background ink just right) and the women riders are going to be stoked on the hoodies. This one is the Krylon design (which we did in different colorways)

…and a collection of the Shattered design – have hoodies, longsleeves and tees with the Rooftops logo on verso. A good twist on the classic logo.

Everything ready for delivery… enough colorways that we shouldn’t need to call ahead of events and coordinate our wardrobe this year.

Spring 2008 Softgoods

The spring 2008 softgoods designs are done and off to the printers. I stopped by today to do the press check and the designs look solid. Here’s a teaser of what you’ll be seeing us in this season, after the guys at Pork Chop wrap this project up.
